Grit and defense are a concern, if anything Kovy hurts both those.

Bracco is not responsible defensively yet. He needs to work on that. With all Toronto's offense they don't need another offensive only player at the moment. Bracco will not likely get to play for the leafs this year.

Kovy will NOT be signed by the leafs. The leafs have enough talent that can be called up from the Marlies if needed.

We have enough FW depth that this move is not needed.

He has NHL quality offensive skills. It is just the defensive side that is holding him back. Those skills can be learned so there is still a chance that he will be a quality NHL player. It took Kadri a few years to learn the defensive side.

Kadri played NHL games every year starting with his draft year. By 4 years past his draft year he had played 99 games, and that included a lock out shorted season. Bracco has zero.
