Understand the thought process but.......

1. Nylander for Risto is a one for one deal. Even if this was Montour (a preferred return for a Nylander), you are off base with a 3rd as an additional pick.

2. Liligren for Hutton is laughable. And a 3rd to boot? Hard no on that side of the deal. Liligren = Jokiharju, which is about as lateral a move as you get, making zero sense.

So for me a resonable counter just might be.......

Nylander and a 2nd for Montour and Jokiharju, a maneuver leaving the Sabres a little thinner on tje blueline than they may like.

Hutton seems to sliding into "bad backup territory" with next year left at 2.75m. Risto for Nylander I kinda understand, but certainly aren't getting a long term Leaf (that's the hope) Liljegren also.
