Something of value. This trade is basically stealing from Chicago.

Yeah, it is bad... $6M for Sa ad would instantly be the worst contract in Pittsburgh. Add $1.5M-$2M retention by Chicago with nothing added from Pittsburgh.

I have no desire to help Chicago unload their bad contracts.

Galchenyuk’s contract is good right now tho?

I’ve seen you **** on Saad countless times on this site. It is always clear to me you are providing your opinion on a player you NEVER watch.

First and Galchenyuk is what I've been using and it goes over fairly well.

I don’t see how you think getting Saad is a bad thing because he’s great in pretty much every metric. He’d fit in perfectly with Crosby or Malkin. Plus it’s not helping Chicago since they already helped themselves with the seabrook injury.

Did I saw that? Did I even hit at that? No and no. Saying player A's contract would be the worst does not in any way mean that another player's contract is "good". Like, not even by an extreme stretch. How did you come with 2 + 2 equals green olives? However Galchenyuk’s contract is $1.1M less and ends this year. Less cap hit and less term. Galchenyuk is playing worse, but his contract is not as bad as of right now.

Or I do watch him and he is not very impressive, especially for $6M hit.

Looking just at advanced stats is flawed. Aren't Simon's advanced stats like All-Star-ish or something.
