If Habs get second overall, I don't see how they don't get Lafreniere. I could see Bergeving massively overpaying just to move up that one spot.

one of KK or Zukes, + 2nd overall + more picks in the 2020 draft for 1st overall. Not saying they should do it, but I think it would be likely.

At that point I'd just keep Byfield. him and Kakko are pretty even imo.

Tough call, value is there but its not clear if one is better than the other, Habs might be better keeping Byfield in this case.

Byfield is a 6’4” Centre. He’s tearing up the OHL. Byfield, Kotka, and Suzuki down the middle would be godly. We wouldn’t trade for Kakko because he’s Finnish.

That wouldnt make any sense. The difference between Laffy and Byfield (or Stutzle or Raymond) isn't as big as Zuke! Especially if we consider the fact that Laffy is a late birthday... The most Id give to move up from 2 or 3 to 1 is a first and a second (which would be acquire in a Tatar/Petry trade at the TDL....

All of his preaching of how centers are more valuable than wingers, I don't see him trading a center for a winger.
