Don't know how the Leafs get better. Is Brodie and Stone any better than Barrie and Ceci? Plus now you have to incorporate the new player in the their teams and hope they are as good or better what you have traded away. Bennett and Johnsson about even. So you make even trades but don't know why any team does it. Buff probably returning to the Jets.

I'd say the best defenceman in the trade is Barrie and the best forward is Johnsson. This definitely doesn't help TO at all.

If we are trading Barrie to CGY it’s for Hamonic not TJ.

Yea Brodie might be the best Dman in four Dmen involved in this post. But Stone is the worse.

Barrie overall has not worked out well for us.
So the question is, is Stone, right now, better than Barrie, right now.

Actually Barrie and Ceci...who might be the two worse Dman the Leafs have had this season, have played better under Keefe, so I gotta think the Leafs are going to dance with these guys.

Understand my sarcasm in my next paragraph. I like Keefe and he's way better head coach than Babcock. But Keefe has been like the substitute teacher. He's sorta like his students get away with things because why argue with my temporary students. But now that Keefe is now the permanent home room teacher, he has to reign in the "trouble makers". Keefe has to start controlling the irresponsible play of the some of Dmen.

As a flames fan I say thank you and no take backs. As a leafs fan I have to wonder how much of Brodie’s career have you watched?
