Eh...I'd keep the trade as simple as possible. As soon as you start adding more players to a deal it gets complicated.

I don't see how it's complicated they add 1 player and we upgrade 1 pick.

This was about discussing value, yes I think i had the Leafs overpay a bit.

I dont believe this is trade that would happen in reality, but this is for fantasy and fun right??

What do you think about adding Anderson and upgrading the 3rd to a second?

What you think of the Raptors so far?
Easily the most injury ravaged team in the league but still finding ways to win.

Loving Davis and McCaw, even RHJ.

I can go on for days about the raps.... Yeah, we're the most injury-riddled team in the league or at least close to it but we still keep finding a way to win. For the life of me, I don't know why the American media over-hypes the Philly so much every year!?! I mean don't get me wrong they have some talent but Embid is too immature and doesn't have the work ethic needed to win and Simmons can't shoot the three to save his life. Plus, their biggest need was 3 point shooting and what did they do to replace JJ.... They bring in another big who makes them a better team but isn't what they needed.

I love how the Raps consistently get no love even after winning a title and yet we keep proving everybody wrong. I may be biased in saying this and may even take heat but I think we can repeat mostly because the raps are an anomaly in basketball....we play for each other and the betterment of the team because everyone's bought in and wants to win more than anything. Maybe I'm letting emotion get the best of me on this one but every time I watch them I feel like there's no team we can't beat. Look no further than the 30 point deficit we faced against one of the leagues hottest team's in Dallas going into the 4th then we drop 47 on them iirc? I mean, how can you count us out after performances like that and how we've played in general.

How about that coach Nurse and Lowry are leading NBA in tfouls??

We are gonna be so good when healthy.

Cause it's aMERKa bruh.
They don't care about anything or anyone outside of the US. Raptors deserve way more attention and accolades than they are getting.
It's hilarious.

I hope Masai goes on a personal mission to bring another championship here.

I think we've been sooooo good with the injuries, I think we'll be absolutely terrifying once fully healthy. I didn't know that about Nurse and Lowry but Klow is one of the best at drawing charges so I'm not worried, and Nurse is one of the most dynamic forward-thinking coaches I've seen in my life. I love how he's not afraid to share his game plan with the media when most hold their cards close to their chest because he knows he can adjust to just about anything. What moves would you like to see made at the deadline and what moves do you think they will make?.... I think they just add some depth unless they get an offer they can't refuse.... Bradley Beal anyone...

I get it but I really thought they would give us more credit after last year. At this point I think the raps thrive off it tho. I hope Masai does too but what's needed? I mean of course we can add but what would you do? I'd add depth unless we can get a good deal on a upgrade ( I'd love to get Beal but I wouldn't overpay for him). How far do you think we go this year with the roster as currently constructed?

That depends alot on the injuries. Which ones the team recovers from and which ones we will still have.

If there's injuries, I'd say don't bother adding to the team. This way we keep the team and cap as it is and hopefully can sign Freddy and Alphabet lol

In the next 2-3 years winning again would force everyone to talk about the Raptors. Can't ignore us if we keep winning, right?

I was thinking more of adding depth after the buyout window otherwise I'd stand pat unless we get a good deal on a solid player. Isn't Giannis a FA after next year? Sadly, I think the only way to "steal" respect because that's what we have to do is to win like 5 chips in a row or at least 3 in 5 years. Do you think we have what it takes to repeat?

Yes. I like Boucher but we need another big for sure, hence why I would rather Davis over the greek freak. I know he's fragile but I think he'd start healthier at the 5. Are you worried about Freddy leaving at all?

Probably not based on injuries..but even without injuries being a factor, we don't have a "go-to" guy atm. Siakam might turn into that in a year or so but he's not that yet.

This is why Kawhi coming back to the Raptors made so much sense. He was the "go-to" guy last season and would be that guy again now.

There's no way we add one during this season either.

I'm sorry man but Rielly is good D man at best, Jones is elite.

The guy was a beast again tonight and Leaf fans are still turning on Rielly. He's without a doubt a elite #1 anyone who still doesn't see that is just out of their mind.

How we've played through the injuries is what makes me think that we can repeat or at least make a long run. Definitely agree about Siakam and not adding a "go-to" guy this year but I don't think this team can be counted out. I may be nieve or my judgement may be clouded from personal bias but it's hard not to after last year even without Kawhi.
