I agree. Palmieri would be a good fit for the Pens. I think that deal is an overpayment though. A 2nd and a prospect is fair.

I dont see NJ trading Palmieri unless it's a significant overpayment. They have him locked up for another year at a super reasonable contract & they need his leadership with all those kids they play. Is it possible, sure, but Pens would have to overpay.

This would be great for the Pens, it'd be a great deal for a lot of teams really, Islanders would be another this would work for imo.
