If SJ sells

Created by: LetsTalkNHL

Description
If they decide to want to change things around, I would love to pick up any of Kane, Hertl, Meier or Labanc. What would each cost? I doubt they move any of these guys easily, but something has got to give with this roster.

Kane would be cheap. Can’t see them moving the others.

What is your definition of cheap? He is on pace for a 60 point season, and is signed at $7M for another 5 years at the age of 28. The problem with him is that he has a 3-team trade list, and I dont know if the Penguins are on that. Also, he already has 83 PIM, something that I am not crazy about. Between the 4 players I listed, he would probably be my last choice.

Ya think Winnipeg and Buffalo are on his trade list? Cause if they are he really only has a one team trade list.. Lol

Going to be honest, you wont like the costs for any of them and Im not sure SJ wants anything your selling. I think talk for all but Labanc start with your best prospect and a first, but I dont think sharks even consider moving Hertl or Meier for what you can offer. Labanc id do for like a late first.

Kane won't be cheap. He leads the Sharks in goals and got a career high last season. He carries a 3 team trade list. I highly doubt Pitt will give up anything Doug Wilson wants.

A first and a prospect if San Jose was smart. I think getting him to waive would be possible. San Jose has major contract issues. Getting out from underneath Kane’s may be the only one they can move. Also the only way they will get a first (Ottawa owns theirs)

Now that's a quality AGM right there.

Good thing there isn't a Forum area for things like this. Oh, wait...
