No way NYR is looking for that kind of term & dollars for Kreider, nor should they. He'll get a below market offer to stay a Ranger, between now & the deadline. (5 years 6.5 million) If he balks he gets moved at the deadline.
I think the Andersson /Puljujarvi shipped has sailed, rumor has it that was already offered when Andersson was still playing with he organization & Holland (EDM) said no.
Andersson is more than likely dealt as part of a package, either with Kreider, DeAneglo or least likely Skjei.
Strome is arbitration eligible & has chemistry with the teams best player, so unless someone wants to really overpay, i don't see him being moved. DS can take a 2 year bridge deal (4-4.5) & become a UFA in in 2 years. or got to arbitration, get a 1 year deal & can be moved next year.
DeAngleo is playing so well on the offensive side,he could be pricing himself out of NY, with all the back end prospects NYR has in the system. Again TDA is arbitration eligible so he can get a 1or 2 year payday based on his play this year & still be RFA for NYR at the conclusion of that contract, a 4-5 year deal at 4.5-5.5 is more a likely the term & dollars that will get him to sign a long deal. So NYR may sell high at the deadline or the 2020 draft.
Would not be surprised if K'Andre miller signs his ELC after his season at Wisconsin. Wouldn't be upset if he stayed for his JR season.
I think Robertson plays another year or 2 in the CHL, hes only 18 (19 in March) & he's playing big minutes with the OIL KINGS in the WHL & his contract can slide a year, to not speed up all the kids reacquiring new deals at the same time. There are other LDs in the system (Miller, Rykov, REUNANEN ) to get looks until hes ready to make the jump to the pros.
