Scandella is wearing #28

Don't see a point in them retaining. Montreal can easily retain 50% if/when they trade him at the TD

So basically the overall trade is:
Give Up:
Mike Reilly
2020 4th SJS

Get:
2M$ (Prorated)
2020 2d STL
2021 4th STL

2021 5th OTT
Andrew Sturtz

Montreal trades back a round in exchange for evening out which years they have their picks in and upgrading Reilly. Nice.

At the time Reilly was kind of a cap dump because he was a 1.5M$ 7th dman on the team but right now with the way Bergevin flipped Scandella it's a clear win. Once again on depth trades he kocked it out of the park.
Sturtz will most likely be let go but it's weird that he couldn't produce in the AHL after getting a ppg in the NCAA.

I don't think Bergevin had any interest in Sturtz, Laval just needed bodies.

And maybe just to even out contracts but still his NCAA resume's pretty good.

IDK, the O’Reilly trade was pretty bad.
