I would probably do this, I wouldn't hate retaining if we got a better pick, but that's assuming that the market is mostly just rentals. Bogosian drops off at the end of the season, the cap space will be there for the summer market when it's not just rentals. I can't for the life of me see us doing anything to save this season with Skinner and olofsson out for at least a month.

And I'm sure the team here doesn't matter.

I doubt Chicago was specifically chosen. I think op is just showing trading him for a depth pick. Some contender may take him for that if they want d depth for the playoffs and have room by the tdl...

The problem is I would have said that about Frolik and Scandella (at least last year) and neither of them did. Now, CHI definitely won't be the team to pay, but they might find another team to pay.
