THANK YOU FOR NOT OVERPAYING FOR KREIDER Toffoli has had a much better 5v5 impact this season than Kreider... And seemingly doesn't cost as much

I don’t get why people think kreider could happen since he’d be an obvious overpay due to NYR being a metro team. Toffoli seems like a situation similar to Michael Grabner going to NJD in 2018 as he’s a guy people think would draw a haul for a return but ends up getting dealt for something minimal.

Toffoli's return will be bigger than you guys think, but not quiet as much as Kreider.

I think it’ll be a somewhat high end prospect and a 2nd but I just don’t see him fetching a first. That could obviously change as the market fluctuates but not right now.

If he is half retained maybe he could get that return but unless Martinez is part of the deal then you could be right

Toffoli will likely go for something similar to what Nyquist and Zuccarello went for.

That’s more than doable...I’ll take it.

Yeah I can't see anyone giving a high end prospect for Toffoli even with his playoff history, wasn't Nyquist having a career season last year when he was dealt at the TDL? Toffoli is on pace for 46 points, even though he's on a bad team that isn't getting a high end prospect in return, guess that depends on what your definition of high end prospect is though... Lol

Zuccarello, Nyquist, Dzingel, those seem like TDL comparisons for Toffoli unless this year's TDL market for wingers is way different but even then I think GM's are being a bit wiser at the TDL then they have in the past. Maybe I'll be proven wrong but I just can't see Toffoli going for much more then those guys went for.
