I think I would rather have a late 1st round pick than him. He's doing what you would expect for a 20 YO.

I’d rather keep Samberg and our two picks and let Kulikov walk in 4 months. Winnipeg is in no position to be trading any assets this year.

That's fair. Still can't believe they gave up those good assets two years in a row for a center and then let them walk in FA.

Couldn’t afford to re-sign them. I had no problem with the Stasny move. He fit right in and gelled with Laine and was a big contributor to our playoff run.
I wasn’t a fan of the Hayes move. Something was off in the room the 2nd half of the season and Chevy was reaching with that trade. Our depth sucks now and I don’t want to give up any assets for a few years.
