I like the thought of Rakell in Boston and even Manson would be nice but there is no way the cap would work next year. Krug, Chara, Chara's bonus money, Debrusk, Bjork and backup goalie. Plus you only have two spares. Sweeney wouldn't do that, he loves depth.

1st Heinen Frederic might get Rakell. Ritchie and Moore does not get Manson.

Rakell = second and Carlo, or first and Clifton
Manson = second and Clifton, or first and Axel Andersson
Rakell and Manson means McAvoy, a first and something else

You're right -- I was too economical. What I was trying to point out was that none of those players were included in the proposed trade, and a trade for both Rakell and Manson would require some combination of players and two firsts, two seconds, or a first and a second, and not just one first. I'm sure you think that I think that Carlo and a second has the same value as Clifton and a first. I hold your opinion in an equivalent esteem.

Read your first comment again. You don’t even know what an opportunity you missed. Rather than jerking off a juvenile, snotty effort to impress everyone with how smart you are – an uphill battle if there every was one – you could have been an adult and simply asked “You don’t really think that Carlo and a second is equal to Clifton and a first, do you?” and then I would have explained the greater context of my post and every observer reading yours would have elevated his estimation of you. Instead, you get to remain where you are. Pity.
