Didn't Bennning get waived a few weeks back? Why would they trade for a piece they could have just claimed?

I think that the fourth-round pick in the Kings trade is one step too far, but the rest of the trade is well conceived. The Edmonton trade seems right (maybe the other commenter is confusing Manning with Benning). As to my other local team, I'm not sure that Bogosian is the RhD Anaheim is looking for (I think that their orientation is for the future and not a stopgap for this season, which is already a lost one), but again, the trade is reasonable in value; it's just not one I would make.

The kings trade is absolutely terrible. Sabres dont need rentals. Sabres dont need help on d, we have too many as it is, and a future first for toffoli is not in the cards from us. Try a playoff team, la and buffalo are not good trade partners.
