Anaheim is the wrong trade partner but Allen is having a great season, there's one year left on his contract, and there's more than a few teams with gutter goaltending (New Jersey, Detroit, San Jose, Edmonton, Calgary) that might take a flyer on a former starter for a decent asset. Hardly the most egregious move, but I guess that was the point

I disagree with New Jersey taking him simply because they still have Schneider under contract for a few years. I can see a team like Carolina trying though since Mrazek and Reimer are just as questionable.
