You know what I see happening? Pretty much nothing. They are the hottest team in the league and the more they play under Keefe the more they seem to be tightening up. I think Hutch is quieting the the concerns over the backup for now and as long as he can give Andersen on day off every few games, they are fine. Upgrading over Ceci would be nice but its not really a grave concern either. The forward ranks just need to get healthy so no concerns there.

I am confident this team is already elite, some more time will be needed to figure out exactly what if anything needs to be done.

Mostly agree. It's nice to theorize the big moves on here and think the Leafs will make a blockbuster and be "all in" this year, but realistically they have to really like what they've seen since the coaching change. "But they need to upgrade their D" Their D has actually been pretty solid. Holl/Muzzin are obviously solid, Reilly/Barrie seem to playing better defensively, and Dermott/Ceci have been really good the last month. Oh, and Marincin has been pretty darn good since filling in for Muzzin, even the biggest Marincin haters have to admit that.

Totally, which is why I preach patience. Panic moves almost never work, you end up paying too much and it not helping anyways. If some sort of Johnsson for a better RHD option materializes, then I would make it but I am never going to support overpaying for some late 20's defensive defenceman who is no better than Holl. It won't move the needle that much and even the notion of one defenceman changing how the team defends is laughable.
