All in to WIN another Sidney Cup - Sids 2 new wingers

Created by: Sidstick87
Initial Creation Date: Jan 2, 2020
Published: Jan 6 at 12:05 pm
Team: 2019-20 Pittsburgh Penguins
Team Explanation
__________________________________________________________________________

- If Jake could come back by mid 1st rd or even 2nd rd of playoffs.... My God this team could be Scary Good
and Crazy Deep for a LONG PLAYOFF Run!!!

- I kno I gave up too many picks and a very good prospect but with 2 - 3 yrs left of ....
Sid - Geno - Letang still playing at this level, Im going all In to get 1 more Cup for the Core 3 Pens to go down w/....

5-6 Cup Finals
4-5 Cups

** Plus we will have a lot of options w/ all the depth at Forward - Defense - Goalie
Pens could trade a RFA or player for some picks back before the Draft.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

ANAHEIM TRADE -

(based trade off of Brassard trade but **) - Brassard, Sheahan, 2nd, & 2- 4th's FOR Juggs & McCann
** BUT added Addison BC of better player (Rakell) & took away 1-4th rdr bc Galchenyuk-25 & Brassard-30 + McCann >>>>>>> Shore

I kno everyone will say it's NOT enough for Rakell but since his 69 Point yr in 17'-18' his play has fell off a little bit &
has had some small injuries these past yrs. I am a big Rakell fan tho and he is a perfect Guentzel replacement.
Maybe this change & chance to play w/ 87 or 71 gets him back to those elite #'s??
PLUS
-Kills me to lose Addison, our best prospect, looks like a Top 4 RHD-man, & ANA doesn't have any RHD prospects.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

CAROLINA TRADE -

I would love to get H. Fleury here, IMO he would fit into D-Core perfect here.
+ JJ has played solid this yr but this gives us a better puck moving Dman.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

NYR TRADE -

IMO, Riikola, Johnson, & a 1st gets it done for Kreider.
Kreider could be a bigger / faster Kunitz type player w/ Sid.

Anaheim has so little offensivly i cant see them moving their best offensive player whos contract is an absolute gift. I like addison as a prospect but not as much as you i guess. Rakell is just worth more than that ti aneheim.

Carolina can get more than a 33 point winger for Fleury. They'll pass here. The pick would need to be multiple rounds further up. However, Haydn is 100% a trade piece for Carolina, maybe if Pittsburgh part ways with Tristan Jarry, or Matt Murray for a package including Haydn, there's a deal here.

Rakell is worth a first, a roster RhD (Anaheim's primary need) and a prospect. The Ducks won't do any major trade without getting a roster RhD back; Addison won't do. The 2020 first, Marino and Bjorkqvist or Hallander is an appropriate package; Anaheim would include Shore. If you want/need to include Galchenyuk for cap reasons, we can work something out involving low draft picks.

1st of all im a big Rakell fan but since his 1 big season, he hasn't really done much ... and its prob due to lack of an Elite Center there now but I just dont see his value that high but maybe Im wrong?? Who really knos but these crazy GM's .....
I would go as far as changing the 2nd to a 1st Rdr.

Last 32 games - Fleury has been a healthy scratched 19 times (That means he is ur #7 Dman bc usually a team play 6 Dmen)

In the 13 games he did play in - he is averaging 11min of TOI

Do you even watch ur own team Genius??tears of joy squinty smile Sticking Out Tongue tears of joy squinty smile tears of joy

That is a reasonable position; I certainly can't say it's not in the ballpark, or wrong. Rakell for a 2020 first and fourth and Addison might be his actual market value.

Why do you feel entitled to insult people like this? I mean, it's not as if the poster has asserted that Sebastian Aho isn't worth a first-round pick . . .

Since it's the start of a new year, I think we should all try to make a stronger effort to be civil with each other. None of us hiding behind the anonymity of a CapFriendly avatar knows what knowledge, experience, intelligence, etc. any other CF participant has, so we should all treat each other with at least some respect.

Full disclosure: I was prompted to insert these feelings into this thread because someone else's first response to a comment of mine was essentially "only an idiot would say that."

Go to The Hockey News go to players - go to H. Fleury and then go to his game log - It shows the games he was healthy scratched and TOI each of the 13 games he played in, some games he was only getting like 7 to 8 min each night.
Since he is playing only 7-11 min each nite and only dressing for 1/3 of the games at 23 yrs old already - best option for him mite be a change

Thanks! Some people here on CapFriendly are housebound and others do not have English as a first language (I know of at least two of my frequent valued correspondents who speak to us through translation devices) so we should all make efforts to be better to each other, and leave the talking smack to our ***hole politicians.

He needs a change because he's not moving over Gardiner or Slavin, and he's gonna get passed by Bean soon. However, I don't think this is enough for him is all.
