I hope Mtl plans fail enough for the GM to start trading Price, Petry and Tatar. I know Weber would jump too, but I'd love him to stay a little more.

I didnt really know where to trade Price. Colorado seemed obvious, but I don't know much about Grubauer. I was also looking for cap and goalie prospect. (Primeau is fine yet, but we never know) Maybe the Flames or Edmonton.
So, who need a goalie?!

Also, Domi and Mete's contrats are approximative.

DET trade works if MTL pick is top 10, and of course, if DET likes a player there. Lafreniere "may" not be untouchable, and the whole league knows MTL is going to try. It would really be crazy to have a Quebec native potentially superstar here.

This could change hockey folks!

I know the team would want one of Suzuki, Kotkaniemi, Primeau or Romanov instead of Poehling but it would change the rest of the package. I honestly like the players going to DET, mostly the two future top 4 D prospects, but still, prospects. Tatar goes back where it all started and has good value now.

Price is the highest paid goalie in the league and he's (minimum 20 games played):

28th in save percentage (.902);
27th in Goals Against Average (3.00); and
has the 2nd most goals against at 100GA (Although he has played more games than some);

How can you possibly think that any team would give up that much for him?? He honestly might untradeable unless you're taking on cap..

Sorry but 0 contenders will be interested in Price. Awful contract and he's declining (stats support that). Nobody will throw away cap space. Why would the Avs trade a starter like Grubauer, a future 1st pairing guy like Byram, a 1st and a decent player like Compher.

To all Habs fans: WAKE UP! Price will be a Hab for the rest of his career unless a GM wants to make an awful trade to ruin his teams' chances

This is why our fanbase look so bad the majority of time on this site... I mean how could you possibly think Price could get that return with how he play right now?! The only way we get a decent return for him its by taking a bad contract on return and even then, we wont get anything close to that. I could see a Calgary Trade by taking the Lucic contract, I dont know what would be the other players to make it even but you get the Idea. I love him, he gave us some incredibly good years but face it, its over, he can be good again but never for what he is paid for! As for the Lafrenière trade, it would be something like our 1st, the one next year, caufield and Romanov. DET isnt shopping him so you would have to overpay and they don't care avoir Tatar they are trying to rebuild

Another delusional Hab fan, Thinking the Habs are getting Byram for an aging over-priced Carey Price and then some. And Detroit's potential 2020 1st round pick 1-4 is worth more then Tatar+Poehling+Montreal's 2020 1st round pick+Anaheim's 2020 4th round pick by a country mile. Teams just don't move those kind of picks in the deepest draft in recent memory.
