What do you think they are worth? Tatar and Danualt are both way over rated. neither of them have been anywhere close to a point a game. Roslovic has tonnes of offensive upside and lowry is a very good defensive forward. its really not all that far fetched...

Sorry, friend, but Danault is not overrated. Indeed, most hockey people feel he doesn't get his due. Tatar is what he is, which is a very good, proven middle-six forward on a great contract. Neither are untradable, but nor are the Canadiens under any dire need to cut cap or move them. Tell the truth, would you prefer Lowry and Roslovic or Danault and Tatar on the Jets? Even with the swap of picks, I think you have your answer why Montreal wouldn't entertain this.

Danault has more pts combined than Lowry and Roslovic, Danault is a Selke candidate
Tatar has more pts combined than Lowry and Roslovic, Tatar is worth a 1st and 2nd at minimum

He's not a Selke candidate but he certainly worth more than that. He's heading toward a 60pts season while being awesome in the face off and responsible defensively. He's also a hard worker on a great deal. Forget him, he isn't getting trade except at a Patch price
