Only 7 points out of wildcard and 8 out of third in pacific. Dont think they are screwed yet

Well optics are funny... I see an aging core with no goaltending on a team that is -29 and in 26th place.

Very rarely do you see a team that is negative double digits in the playoffs. So No... they certainly aren’t out. But they will have to turn things around abruptly.

The points needed can be deceiving as well. You have to take a look at how many teams are ahead of you. These are all teams that you will have to outplay. Not to mention teams under you trying to come up and challenge.

Was literally about to say this. It’s not just 7pts. It’s 7 pts PLUS all the teams you’re trying to catch. All would have to go on 4 game losing streaks for sharks to get back in it

Most didnt think the leafs stood a chance but funny enough they are back in it now.

Id say about the Hall return although ive gotten hate for it in the past. Younger, more points, another year on his contract, better advanced stats.
