No fit on the current roster and can't imagine how bad an already declining player would be after not playing for half a year

Why not Bob Baun he lives Toronto and is a RHD. He has true Leaf Cup pedigree

Bobby Baun was a rock solid take no prisoners type of defensive defenseman in his day that the Leafs could use today. He actually won a cup playing on a broken leg and was one of best hipcheckers of all time in the NHL.

You obviously remember that Red Kelly was talked out of retirement from the Detroit Red Wings by the Leafs and went on the win 4 more cups with the Leafs. Kronwell would be a rock solid defensive depth siging who won a cup in 2008 with Detroit and World Hockey Championship with Sweden in 2006. He had to retire a bit early because he was hurting but has now had some time to heal his body.

I know that stranger things have happened and feel very confident that both Shanahan and Dubas have probably actually had a discussion on this idea because both these guys think outside the box compared to other team's executives.

The amount of people reading the sub-forum is so much smaller when compared to those who read the AGMs... it won't reach nearly as many people when posted in there. That's why sub-forums aren't as used here...

Well....also here noone reads it anyway except he and three other homers patting each other on the back how Holl and Dermott are the new Lidström, how Matthews is better then McDavid and his higher AAV then McDs is deserved, how Hutchinson will turn into new Hasek and whatever we draft in 7th Round is better then Top 3 Picks......

You also forgot how Marner can walk over water and Nylander is basically TOP5 winger in the world.

Probably.

Its exactly why. One person does it, then another and another. Then when someone complains the standard "well no one uses the sub-forums" comment gets thrown out. Funny enough if people would use the site as its supposed to be used, the sub-forum would used a lot. It also doesn't help that forums are not visible on the main page (even the top 3-5 most recently posted in) and the tab for the forum is buried up top with 9 other tabs and all the way at the end.

True. Although I can understand why people, especially those whose team have pretty small fan base, don't really use the sub-forums when there's a large one available. For example, I'm a Stars fan, but since the amount of active Stars fans here are so minimal (I can think of two plus me) that makes it almost impossible to get any good conversation going.
