Earlier in the year I would have jumped on this from MN pov. Now I'd pass.

Donato has improved his 200' game over the season. He's not great in the d-zone and can't win puck battles, but has been making the smart plays a lot more often.

Long term Puljujärvi might turn out to be the better player, but currently it's Donato. It's not a gamble I'd take if I was GM.

Donato seems to have rediscovered his offensive skills but I think he is a middle 6 guy, Puljujärvi is probably a top 6 fwd with high end top 3 potential. In my opinion Wild still lack skill and need to take a few chances.

Even on a Minnesota team that can't score Donato is 11th in points (among forwards) and 12th in TOI. He's a 4th liner... not a chance Holland trades Puljujarvi for him.

It's called having team depth. EDM should look up the definition.
