If he plays good till the deadline, use him as trade bait, you can probably get a good player in return with term, then let Jarry and Desmith compete for the net. Murray has been subpar all season, and I think it's a risk that could pay off big time.

It's better to have too many goalies than not enough when the Playoffs come around. Run with what you have for the season and make the needed moves in the off-season.

Most likely they trade one of either Murray or Jarry rights in the offseason and sign the other. I don’t see a reason to worry about it beforehand, unless a team blows them away with an offer.

i think if jarry keeps up his solid play that murray will be traded in the offseason, 1v1 for a solid player, or moved at the draft for a pick or two. i don't see gmjr trading him during the season, even though they have another solid backup option in the ahl in desmith

I see no reason to trade him rn, just keep him, try to sign both to 1-2 year deals if possible, if one gets traded it's gonna have to be for =/more than whatever a 4-5 mil offersheet would be imo (=value to a team like WSH's picks... If it's like DET making the trade... Obv their first has way more value than like WSH's)
