i would be so mad if wood gets dealt - people need to realize how much offense wood creates and how high his potential is if he orders some new hands lol

also vatanen for this is so underwhelming, its just a bad trade imo i would rather a straight first round pick for sami than this

but certainly not wood and sami

Sami will get NJ a second rounder most def. (To The Highest Bidder). Heard that Edm was in phase 2 talks with NJ for Vat but also inquired about another player from NJ. So this is just my guess placing Wood into the trade. I think NJ wouldn't be opposed to just a straight pick for Vat but if Edm is asking for another person, esp a roster player, youd have to think NJ would want a roster player back. Hence my decision for Puj. Low -Risk, High - Reward.

Maybe you can even add a contingency to the pick. i.e. 4th becomes 3rd if Edm wins playoff round. 3rd to 2nd if makes Stanley cup final

yeah no and im not speculating on whether your value is right or wrong or whatever. I personally just don't like that trade for nj. If shero did it I would not be happy lol

I think Vatanen pulls more ... a late first or a high second plus. Right handed shot, plays big minutes, can point the PP and is playing at a high level, after an injury plagued year prior. His value will be very high.

The Devils just moved Hall, who seemed like he was forcing Shero to make moves in order for him to even consider resigning. Can the Devils not go after another guy with possible character issues?
