Never thought I'd say this but I'd rather have Simon.

Yikes. I don't think I COULD ever say that. Who would you target?

Interesting idea from Chicago perspective but not sure they say yes given that Chucky is a UFA so flipping him makes sense to a contender. This could work assuming Chicago's done for the season.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Sheary stinks. He’s worth a 7th round pick at best, and that’s with 50% salary retained. The only thing the guy does well at is slipping and falling whenever he steps onto the ice. Oh, and whiffing on the puck.

As it stands I don't find it 100% necessary to go after a top 6 or 9 winger at this point. We will see what happens when both Sid and Malkin are on the ice together and who ends up playing with who.

I disagree... Sid and Malkin need help. Especially when we start playing the big guns like Washington, Boston, Tampa, etc.

I think you have to embrace the youth. Had we filled gaps with "star talent" we may have never seen what Jake, Rust or Sheary had to offer. Use the next couple of months to continue testing out Kahun among Sid and Geno, get McCann into the mix, utilize Tanev for building more minutes into his game and go from there. Not saying we 100% don't need help, but the standings don't lie and that's without Sid for a long stretch, Geno for a stretch, Horny for a stretch, etc.
