No thanks to that bust of Mittelstadt. Make it 2 2nd rounders and we are good.

And for Palat: he's playing one of his best hockey this season. Not for sale IMO

Gotta find money somewhere my friend. Either him or Killorn.

And... as for Johnson..... his trade value is not 2 2nds. Grabbing a 2 and a gamble that Middlesadt has game in a different environment I think is good value.

Tyler Johnson isn't waiving for Buffalo, Nor is Palat waiving for Edmonton. Tampa is a potential cup contender. Neither Buffalo or Edmonton are going anywhere. Both players decline.

So many moves that can't possibly happen. However you are fired by paying Joseph, an AHL player now 1.3 mil;lion for two years.

So where to you propose Tampa cuts payroll? All fine to criticize, but what's another solution?

Joseph at that tag buys time to stabilize payroll. Something about a little longer term thinking, because Raddysh isn't ready.

Ok. So Palat says no to playing with McJesus, with two years left on a contract??? A team that is in the hunt because of McJesus and Leon? A team with a chance to completely rebuild the bottom 6 into something decent? Yeah. Going nowhere is right. And if Palat fails to see a potential big fat payday after playing with the world's greatest player - well...... he needs a new agent.

Johnson may not waive for Buffalo. I accept that. However, he no longer has a clear role in Tampa, and with the Sabres he will. Why I think he might.

I do think Tyler goes. Because of TB cap situation we will get a very small return. Tyler would go to Vancouver (close to home) maybe Edmonton to get top six minutes. Gourde I think ends up in Montreal or Ottawa both are close to home, French Canadian and with a new baby gets to be with family. I prefer Stephens, ABB and Volkov maybe Verhaeghe over Joseph. Joseph has regressed all speed nohands, a bigger version of JT Brown.

Interesting ideas....... looked at Edmonton for Johnson as well. There is a fit for sure.

More surprised you are suggest Gourde. Young and pretty damn good.

Two contracts have to go is what I see unless someone pulls a Kevin LeBanc.

But that feedback is most appreciated.

I loved Gourde 2 years ago. Last year he regressed a bit but still good. Regressing again. Last 20 games 0 goals 4 assists and about 13 minutes TOI. Definitley a bottom six player on this team. Can not justify 5.1 mill contract. A fresh start playing on a second line he can bounce back. He is 28 best projection would be 20 goals 20 assists and decent defensive pest.

Palat and Killorn are having very good years. Both play a strong two way game and bring size that we need. I would hate to see either go.

Valid points. Question is can you get vakue for Gourde? The contract + term + apparent regression = selling low.

It will be low selling. In the right environment he can be a good player.
