Salary Cap Mode: Basic

1. I think signing Travis Hamonic is a must. He wants to play here and I think we can get him on a decent deal. He would be an excellent addition.

2. I was hesitant to make the signing of Edmundson. We have a lot of good LHD prospects in Heinola, Samberg & Stanley. What made this signing feasible to me was the expansion draft. We are going to be losing a player and my guess is it will be a D with the last name Niku, Edmundson or possibly Pionk (just depends who we protect). Personally, I think it will be Morrissey, Hamonic & Pionk.

3. Deslauriers is a cheaper signing to add size to the bottom of our line up.

4. I signed Joel Lowry (Adam Lowry's brother) to a 2 year deal to play in the AHL. I made it a 2 year deal in hopes of enticing Lowry to sign when his contract is up.

5. Hoping to get Brossoit back as their are not many options for back up goalies next year. With that being said, that might drive his demand up resulting in him making more money. I think Berdin has a lot of promise but another year in the AHL cannot hurt. I would rather that them him play 15 games in the NHL in a backup role.

6. I don't think Winnipeg needs to add much up front. Our offence is not the issue, it's more on the back end.
