Description

As much as I'd love to see the Jets make a splash on free agency this summer, They likely could only offer 1 year deals as Laine, Pionk, Roslovic, Copp, Lowry, Niku, Poolman and Appleton will all need contracts by 2021 season. I've estimated values based on each player's current trajectory. Who is over/under-payed and who would you not bring back. Who is in the Jets system that you project to take one of these spots? Obviously, if Little retires, his salary could be used elsewhere.

Seattle expansion guess - Protected - Scheifele, Wheeler, Laine, Connor, Ehlers, Roslovic, Copp, Morrissey, Pionk, Niku, Hellebuyck

Exposed - Little, Lowry, Perreault, Poolman, Brossoit (has to be signed before end of season)

Exempt - Heinola, Vesalainen, Samberg, Gustafsson, Harkins, MacKenzie

Taken - Perreault with Jets coughing up a pick.
