Pick up Backes too. I bet we could get a 1st or top prospect with him.

No thanks, I don't understand why Hawks fans want to add contracts with term so badly. That cap space next season could be very useful, and there are other one year contracts teams are looking to move. Reimer only makes sense if Lehner and Crawford go, otherwise the hawks have both Delia and Lankinen in the minors. Lankinen has been good and Delia had good spurts in net last season.

Realistically I would not want him either. He's a dead contract which makes sense for this post.

Unless Crawford starts to shine and play consistently, I think that CAR trade has to be Lehner otherwise Hawks don’t get a first.

agree. Carolina has no reason to even trade Reimer. Hes also doing better then Crawford this year so wouldn't make sense to add any picks. Reimer is also cheaper and younger. If anything it would just be a one for one. But I think Carolina is better with Reimer then Crawford. Two bad games doesn't mean trade right away. Agree with Lehner being a better option then you can add a pick, but still wont be a first

I agree to an extent. I trade would be

Mrazek, a 1st and conditional 2nd if Lehner re-signs) for Lehner (1/2 the salary retained).

Crow (1/2 retained) would be for Mrazek and a 2nd.

Both Crow and Lehner are playing behind horrible defense and seeing an average of 40 shots a night; Reimer would be worse then Crow if he faced the same thing. Lehner and Crow are both playing very well despite numbers, but Lehner is no doubt on another level.
