I think all those trades are fair, but leafs probably want a RD instead. Benning for Kap straight up is fair. Benning During the last three seasons at 5v5, Benning has ranked 18th among NHL defenceman with over 2300 minutes played in goals for percentage with a 54.87

Renewed playoff enthusiasm or not the last thing the Oilers should do is trade a 1st for a rental.

It seems like most of their first round picks dont work out, so why not. Bad developing/drafting. We must have less than 50% rate

At least trade for an RFA or add a bit and get a guy with an extra year or two of term.

Hopefully the drafting and developing improves with Holland running the show.
