Gourde is a great idea, do not know what you would have to give up to get him. Not so keen on Dustin Brown I think his time is done.

Given the contract and Gourde’s game, this Tampa must pay extra for someone to take him.

That is just silly. Everybody was saying the same for JT Miller eh, but there we are.

That trade is bad for Tampa.
Tampa doesn't need Colin Miller and Cajkovic isn't getting moved.

Miller would be fine in Tampa and he's just the best player than Gourde.

Gourde is now on the same spot that JT Miller was. Mostly snubbed by Coop, sheltered on a bottom-six role and contrary to JT Miller is not even getting PP1 time.
Gourde is not a bad player by any mean, and even if his skillset is not the same as JT Miller, he's way more physical and energetic. But give him a top-six spot, top 6 minutes and he'll be a 55-60 points player.
Don't believe me? There's an in depth article that look at Gourde's advanced stats https://www.rawcharge.com/2019/11/20/20962198/how-good-do-you-think-yanni-gourde-is-hes-better-than-that-tampa-bay-lightning-analysis-nhl-stats

I did not say that Gourde is a bad player, but how should he be regarded by other teams, if now he is more likely a winger by 40 points with a long contract of 5 million, then that he does not play in Tampa in top 6 is bad for him, as he reduces his value, he has NTC, which can also reduce his value, since he can choose where he wants to play.
