Ceci is better than Hansey and Barrie better than Savard so Leafs decline both deals.

Leafs dont need Barrie. He looses all puck battles, and they have to put him on the pp to pad his numbers. Reilly can do that. Savard =RD shut down guy with one year of term is exactly what the leafs need. Is Ceci better than Hainsey? A lot can be said about Hainsey. He plays a simple game, and is slow. But he is very good at never getting caught out of position, Ceci is not. Hainsey is 1 million less

Ceci for Hainsey makes no sense. Ottawa loves Hainsey for his mentorship of the young players. Leafs don't mind Ceci as much as literally every single Armchair GM does.
