LOL cuz both those trades make sense for colorado and detroit. Detroit might trade AA but no chance you get hirose or svech.

Whats going on with Chytil and Buch. They dont have great production. Meanwhile RFAs to be in Deangelo and Strome are firing on all cylinders.

14pts in 33 games doesn't scream 2nd line player, let alone 3rd line

Would be surprised if Yzerman moves either Hirose or Svechnikov right now. Maybe down the road neither have futures in Detroit. But i'd be surprised if either gets moved now.

Detroit also said they won't move picks, so that 2nd is out. If you take the picks out the trade is more likely to happen.

He will score for 20+ goals and also is +3. He needs to move to the wing and get a center that can feed him the puck because he is always in the right spot. He's 20 years old!

I think Detroit might accept this. Though I'd remove the picks.

points alone doesn't show your overall game.. nhl is about a lot more than that. His two way play has increased dramatically, he's constantly making things happen. he went from being a meh possession player to a positive one, and keep in mind that this is only his second season in the NHL-- considering he was a late 1st round pick in the 2017 1st round (seriously look at this group outside the top 5) you cannot be upset with his development.
No it is not looking like he is going to be a sure fire top center in the league, but I can think of many worse options on the roster (cough howden or andersson) for your long term 2c.

he a perfect fit on the third line right now 14 points in 33 games isnt bad at all and if you watched a game youd see how good he will be and im sure he'd be good on the second line playing with panarin
