Nah... We got to keep at least one of them... You can't just expect the young guys to be the new leaders. Weber will be very important in a rebuild or a reset of one to two years

Price isnt waiving his NMC
His wife built a Career in MTL Fashion and isnt going to give that up anymore then Price wants to waive his 100% full NMC

only way you're moving Price out is if we completely blow up the team selling every other leader from Weber to Gallagher , Tatar to Danault , Drouin to Petry and Domi as well . the habs would have to be clearly in a rebuild that will take years to make him even consider it IMO as to move ruins his wifes career if she chooses to follow him

Idk if I fully agree with that. Russell and Larsson are guys with some experience and how to handle the league. And on our forwards we have Kassian, 2x Stanley Cup winner Sheahan, Stanley Cup winner Chiasson. They aren’t the best players, but they have experience and can teach the younger guys how to perform in this league.

I meant that there aren't many leaders in the mold of Weber and Price (especially Weber).

It makes us weaker right now but we could highly benefit from this in 4-5 years

Um... Edmonton is well ahead of Montreal in the standings. How's all that leadership working out?

There's no way Holland would do that - Price and Weber are old and have way too much contract left. Both are bad investments irrespective of their play right now.

You might miss the playoff if McJesus and Drai stop producing.

Weber is one of the best dmen this year especially in terms of pts. Stop saying **** if you dont know your facts. Price was bad in his last 5 games and seems exhausted to play here, thats also why peopleare trading him

How is a dmen with over 30pts overpaid? His terms arent bad for a team who wants to win now. Plus his contract will be easy to trade to any teams rebuilding when he retires since NAS will be paying the rest.

I never said Weber was overpaid. I said he was a bad investment. $7.85M until he's 40 is silly - he won't be an elite player for much longer. Price has been below average for most of the last 2.5 years, he's 32 and has SIX AND A HALF more years at $10.5M left. Nobody is going to take that contract without some serious compensation and retention.

Look at Fleury... Elite goaltender even after the drama with PIT and his age. Price might be even better with a new team. He isnt bad, his technic is still at the top. He just doesn't always make the big save in an important moment of the game as he used to do. At 8m on a contender, this guy could be really really great just like he can

**** you for not tagging me lol.

Montreal accepts that. I know Weber would be vital to the rebuild, but we are getting rid of Prices contract and getting a ton of value back. RNH has been rebuilding his whole life so I imagine he would be a good piece to have while rebuildling.

Oh let’s see how you’re doing if McDavid ( gallagher for us lol ) Draisaitl ( drouin for us ) Neal ( armia for us ) Kassian ( byron for us ) all get injured let’s see how you doing lol Drouin Gallagher Byron Armia out, Kotkaniemi Mete have been injured, that’s why MTL is that low. Perfect, better picks
