Right now Pittsburgh are comfortably cruising towards a playoff slot despite having to survive an above-average wave of injuries to key players. Once they get everybody back, the Penguins will be a threat to go at least three rounds deep, so why do they need Tatar?

Because they want to win the fourth round maybe ?

Edit : I don't assume they are the best fit. But for a team who's trying to win a cup, Tatar (with RS IMO) is a good top 9 addition

Pittsburgh likes where your head is, but a 1st and 2nd hurts, no players heading back also hurts. Galchenyuk thrived in Montreal...

How about Galchenyuk, 2nd, 3rd... If Galchenyuk gets his groove back in Montreal you could flip him for another 2nd at the TDL.
