Taken - Bryan Little with a pick. Little retires and joins the Jets front office.

Lowry, Perreault and Poolman all ask for more than they are worth to the team and are lost to free agency.

Leaves enough cap space to make one significant free agent signing if Chevy sees an opportunity.

Little is going to retire at age 33 with 3 years and $10+ million in salary remaining on his contract? Doubtful.

And Seattle would much rather take any of those exposed players over Little and a pick - those are all young players with good potential who could help immediately, why would they pass on that?

Nope, he's going to retire because concussions are not worth the risk at this point in his life.

Chevy had Vegas take Thorburn for a swap of first round picks. Hoping for something similar here.

But i'm pretty sure Thorburn was UFA or one more year at cheap - so doesn't hurt VGK. Little is definitely not that
