I cant stress this enough, we need to be physical going into the playoffs. Rowney is 14th in the NHL in hits and fits on the 4th line RW. Throw in 2 youngsters with some potential and a late pick.

Additional Details:

Vancouver will not make the playoffs as they are not as well built as Calgary. I call they play as sellers at the deadline, putting Tanev on the block where the Leafs can grab him and return a younger defenceman, and a high draft pick. Tanev is one of the league's elite defensive defenceman and would fit perfectly in Toronto.

To be honest, from a real life perspective and considering the fact that Benning is practically in love with Tanev, it would it take a little more. Considering the type of GM he is I know he'd be interested in Ceci but the only way I can see him consider this deal as a start is if you added Korshkov, which I don't think is in Toronto's best interest.

Note to everyone. Adding toughness on the fourth line to play 11 minute per night doesn't address team toughness.

I did not note that this addresses the teams toughness, simply saying it helps. He may play 11 minutes a night yet he still has the 14th most hits in the NHL
