All 31 teams have now played 41 games. (Some have since played more.) Here's how the Pacific Division teams stood at the same point:

Vancouver. . . . . . . . . .22-15-4=48 (139 GF, 124 GA)
Arizona. . . . . . . . . . . . 21-16-4=46 (115-107)
Las Vegas. . . . . . . . . . 20-15-6=46 (125-122)
Calgary. . . . . . . . . . . . 20-16-5=45 (111-122)
Edmonton. . . . . . . . . 20-17-4=44 (118-129)
Anaheim. . . . . . . . . . .16-20-5=37 (105-128)
San Jose. . . . . . . . . . . 17-21-3=37 (109-139)
Los Angeles. . . . . . . . 16-21-4=36 (104-129)

It seems to me that Arizona and Las Vegas are likely to land playoff slots, and with Vancouver's surprisingly successful offense, the Canucks will also be in the playoffs. I see Calgary and Edmonton missing out, due primarily to the former's below-average offense and the latter's below-average defense. Governor Gavin Newsom should donate a trophy for the California Derby, to give GOlden State fans at least something to look forward to. What does everyone else think?
