All 31 teams have now played 41 games. (Some have since played more.) Here's how the Central Division teams stood at the same point:

St Louis. . . . . . . . . . . . . 26-9-6=58 pts (128 GF, 107 GA)
Colorado. . . . . . . . . . . .24-13-4=52 (151-122)
Dallas. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .23-14-4=50 (111-103)
Winnipeg. . . . . . . . . . . .22-16-3=47 (128-126)
Nashville. . . . . . . . . . . . 19-15-7=45 (142-137)
Minnesota. . . . . . . . . . .19-17-5=43 (126-137)
Chicago. . . . . . . . . . . . . 18-17-6=41 (118-132)

This Division has three teams above the 49-point mark which, if duplicated in the second half, virtually guarantees a playoff slot. Winnipeg's defense and all-around strength should see them through to the first wild-card slot. Nashville has been somewhat disappointing, especially the defense (only San Jose has given up more goals), but is still in contention for the post-season. Despite having to change coaches unexpectedly, Dallas looks solid, but the length of John Klingberg's injury stay may affect their final results. What do you think?
