Boom. Deal. Thank you.

Seriously though, isn't Hallander one of your better prospects? Why trade him for a 5-6 defenseman

Yes trade a 1st and over best prospect for Brandon Saad at $6M. Great idea... Absolutely no to all of these

Calen Addison is the Pens best prospect? ouch

And Saad is carrying another year of term which is a good think. If you don't think saad is worth $5M to $6M then you haven't watched him play enough. If you did you'd be crying about what Jugs at $4M+ and a $5M salary and Chucky at $4.7M have delivered so far to your team and be begging for Saad.

i just think its a change of scenery type thing plus a pick for a rental. latest rumors have him going for a second. so this is around that value easily.

hes a top 10 prospect for us, and i love ryan. just taking a look at https://www.hockeyviz.com/fixedImg/teamShotLocDefWi/1920/L.A/ryanxjo93/wrap
he rates as an astoundingly good defensive D man. I'd love to have him in a pens jersey.

Yeah sorry that we arent garbage like the hawks and have high picks in the draft lately. Calen Addison is our best prospect that is the closest to NHL ready. You are clearly delusional if you think Addison and 1st is the right price or an undervalue for Saad. Take ur head out of ur ass, Saad is not worth what you think he is.

Don't be sorry, we won 3 cups last decade and were the most dominant team during that time. We are okay in Chicago and most of us are okay with understanding we need to rebuild.

It's been reported everywhere that it would take a 1st (which is a late pick) and a good prospect for the Hawks to move Saad. It's really that simple that Saad is great this year and last and is peaking, Hawks don't need to move him and aren't going to unless they get that package. Pens would be a lot better with Saad on the first line and he obviously has plenty of playoff experience and cup. Whether you think this or that is irrelevant as Chicago doesn't need to move Saad.

why do you overrate pens prospects so much? on most lists hes top like 60 at the most? thats a good prospect for sure. and thats the price we may have to pay. not sure why you wouldnt do it to win a cup - i sure would.
