Gal isn't getting a 2nd while playing on a great team, he isn't going to start playing great on a terrible team. Don't think NJD take that risk.

I think they'd take a chance on him but not for that much

You guys are so hard on Galchenyuk. He's playing 12 minutes a game and almost averages a point every other night. He's producing just under his career average. It's not because he sucks that he isn't producing he just doesn't fit in with our system. He's not a north-south checking forward like Brandon Tanev or Jake Guentzel and the game that we play is tailored towards those types of players. He's an above average forward in the league and I think we could 1 for 1 swap him for somebody like a Sven Baertschi easily

AG is a ufa in a few months, we have no use for him now! We probably have a good chance to sign him in FA. Other than ufas we should not be giving away anything. I offered Simmonds for Galchenyuk, which is probably pretty fair.

There have been some bad players that still got value and im sure none of them had former 30, 20, 19,19,19 seasons and was only 25 yrs old??

Its proven that Chucky still has value

Hags was horrible and got Tanner pearson then he got a 3rd rdr + that same yr a UFA
Rask was the worst NHLer and got Nino
Brassard was worse than Chucky and we got Brassy + 2nd & 4th McCann & Bugstad, lmao ... then Brassard got another 3rd the same yr , lol
Barkovsky was bad in WASH and got a 2nd and 3rd
Jesus Braun got a 2nd and 3rd
Fiala couldnt do anything and got Granlund

GMJR will get value for Chucky

Everyone is going to lose it when GMJR turns Chucky into something great, he always does it

YES! I agree 1000% with this. This kid has an incredible shot, but if you watch the games he rarely gets to use it. I think that his confidence is hurting and our system is not favorable for him. It's really a shame. I always thought he would be a great linemate for Sid or Malkin. Guess I was wrong though.
