Value-wise neither of the deals aren't that bad. Just wondering that how does this help TOR though? I get that WPG could probably like this, but I'd say Johnsson as a mid-6 winger is more useful for a contending team than a 4th liner and a 6th-7th D...

Does Perreault agree to a trade though is the question?

Also agree Tor doesn't really get much from this when they know they need to add either a top 4 D or goaltending.

The Leafs had interest in Khaira and Benning would patch their defense a bit. I agree, idk if the value is there even with the 2nd but it can benefit both teams

The TOR deal smells more like an draft day deal than a deadline deal , I would assume the Leafs would want the 2020 2nd on draft day but can see them accepting on July 1st if they are targeting a top 4 D to free up cap space
