      That's not true. Look at Bonino.

      The deal is it takes time. It's 2 years for bone to heal. It takes about 1 year to be "normal" again on it. Which tends to mean the next season is shot to hell.
      It also depends on the break and what takes place. Plates and such. If you plate an ankle, you are basically done or looking at multiple years. Because they have to take the plates out if you are ever going to get mobility back. So that's an extra surgery and heal time.

      But it doesn't "ruin" a player.

      I wish they would've gotten Garland instead of Galchenyuk. He would've fit in with our system much better and would've filled Kessel's role on the power play easily
