Description
I’m just not sure where we go from here now. I put the lines at what I think makes the most sense but it’s just so hard to make anything happen with all the injuries.
I did put the one trade I’m still standing on the table to happen ASAP as well.

Who do we call up on Offense and Defense
Carlson??
Krys??

Kurashev?
Wedin??
Fortin?

The Smith/Baertschi deal makes a lot of sense. Cap wise it’s neutral but it gives both teams something they can use. But I don’t think it happens. My guess is that the Hawks will buyout Smith in the summer, which would cost about $1 million in cap space for two seasons. Buying out Baertschi would cost about $1.8 million and $800K over the same time.

I think Wedin will come up again if we need another forward.

Don't think we quite get that much for Gus anymore and the state we are in, would just prefer to keep smith and buyout or trade with a small asset to take his cap.

I also think we need to give Nylander time to work on improving his consistency. Seeing as we are unlikely to make playoffs that could be a huge boost for his chances to develop.
