From Vegas perspective I'd do Vatanen for a 1st and 4th, or a 2nd and a prospect that NJ is interested in. Like a Schuldt, Elvenes, or Coghlan.

If Severson becomes available he should fetch quite the return. Probably starts with a first, top prosepct, more picks and a young NHL dman or some combination of that.
Jets would send Niku, 2nd, 3rd, maybe one or two of Veslaninen, Appleton, Harkins, Spacek and Stanley

I dont know...Severson has 4 more years at just over 4 mill. that's a team friendly deal for a top 4 guy

I can't see Severson getting much more than Colin Miller (second and fifth) or Marcus Johansson (second and third). I think that the best you'd get is two seconds or the equivalent.

A prospect equivalent is tough because ideally you'd like a RhD (you've certainly got enough at C), and most teams aren't full of them.

Vatanen gets you much less because he's an UFA.
