    Krug contract is absurd (and he's not very good), Bertuzzi deal is absurd, can't have Georgiev for a 2nd, they won't draft Byfield, and AA isn't being traded for light return, if at all...that about sums it up.

    I mean that's what I think Krug will go for. Bertuzzi is around a 50pt player, doesn't that get u 5-6 mill? And idk what Georgiev will go for but they have Lundqvist and Shesterkin so theres no room for him right now. And why wont they draft Byfield?

    Lets hope it's not to Detroit. They prob won't draft Byfield bc they either draft 1st or 3rd/4th and that is either Laf or Stutzle/Holtz/Askarov territory. Byfield is overhyped anyway.

    Exactly, which means placing him at the top of the draft right now is ludicrous. The kid barely touched the ice at juniors. Bunch of better picks. I would assume Yzerman knows this.

    I mean Cole Perfetti didn't make the team tho and hes expected to go between 3 and 6 overall.
