Everyone is out here giving Chucky away for nothing or for some bum???

When has GMJR ever lost on a trade or didn't get the right guy back, and didn't fix it??
Just bc Chucky hasn't fit here or bc Sully won't play him & hates him, doesn't mean he has NO value??
- I mean he just got traded for P. Kessel??

** There have been a lot of players that were bad for a team then still got traded for value, some were UFA's too
BUT none of these players had 30,20,19,19,19 goal season like Chucky and was ONLY 25 yrs old!!

- HAGLIN was horrible here & got T. PEARSON, and then got traded again for a 3rd Rdr that same yr & also was a UFA
- RASK forgot how to play hockey and got NINO??
- BRASSARD was as bad as it got here and we got The Great McCann & Juggs ?? we added a 2nd & 4th but still, Brassy was 30 yrs old & a UFA also
& then he got a 3rd Rdr when traded again that yr
- Braun got a 2nd & 3rd Rdrs - He was bad
- FIALA feLl apart in NASH and he got Granlund??

* Just saying - Some how Some way - GMJR will get value back for Chucky

I had a dream last night that Penguins got Rakell and he was tearing it up. Didn't realize until I read this post. Plenty of teams in the league looking for an offensive spark that would take a shot on Chucky.

I guess we should define value first. I would say that value is either what you can get back in a trade and/or production compared to cap hit.
Penguins have most likely been shopping AG for a long time so they arent getting what they want.
AG makes 4.9 and has 14 points. Plus he's had opportunity with Sid out.

Package Galchenyuk, Pettersson and a first for Marner with salary retained. He is better than Rakell.

I'd accept the Ducks trade if it didn't include Shore.

Edit: I don't know, I'd probably still make it if Shore was involved.

Of course they would, but at a very cheap price like a 3rd or even 4th round pick.

Exactly, he's maybe worth a 3rd or even 4th round pick. I like Chucky, he's a Chicago guy, but the reality his trade value is low.

IDK if 1 period on 1st or 2nd line is an opportunity then back to 4th line, He did get 1 whole game once tho

Marner is NOT getting traded ... He just isnt there is 0 chance and maybe a 3% chance in off season
Rakell prob isnt getting traded either but at least there is a slim chance
