just rebuild while you have a few players that can actually get a return. Even if this team was to become decent again the cup window is gone, may as well start the rebuild

they don't really have anyone they can sell and get value for. Meier is here to stay, and I would say the same of LaBanc. Nobody wants their UFAs. Sorensen is about the only asset they can move and his value is about that of a late 2nd.

hertl, kane, karlsson if they can, find a way to ship out burns, you could probably get a 2nd rounder for jumbo at the tdl, maybe even couture-though you may want a leader for the incoming young guys. blow the whole thing up, its too bad the 1st rounder isn't protected, but get a high pick next year. no point in being a middle-bottom team for the next 5 years, when you could start the rebuild and be a prominent contender again in 5-6 years

jumbo wont be moving. hertl is perhaps the best playerr the sharks have right now. i think he is essential to their rebuild. karlsson (E) is impossible to move. Melker is move-able but won't get much as he is just an overpaid fourth liner (though defensively responsible - what i mean is there are cheaper options). Kane also is a lock.

Their UFAs are either immovable or valueless. No middle ground or trade bait
