Actually a decent trade for SJ. I doubt they move Timo but maybe id replace Dal Colle with Ho-Sang.

Andy Greene could be had for a 5th round pick without a prospect.

Because we're getting two young top-6 guys who would help out immediately. Relatively cost controlled too

We won't be able to afford Meier and Labanc's new contract next off-season with our guys up (Barzal/Pulock/Toews).

And who knows how good Wahlstrom will be he could be an amazing scorer along side Barzal which we’ve needed for a while

Exactly. Who knows. My opinion is take the known quantities. Remember how good Strome was supposed to be? Those two guys can be 60+ point players, with Meier perhaps even higher than that playing with Barzal. Wahlstrom is a few years away before we even have a good idea for the kind of player he'll be. Superb prospect don't get me wrong. But I'm taking the 2 young, cost controlled, top-6 wingers all day and twice on sunday.

I get where your coming from with Strome but you also gotta remember that was with Snow (I think) as the gm and not with Trotz and Lou so that is an advantage for Wahlstrom and its gonna help his development a lot

On the sharks trade think you swap one of Dal or Aho with Sorokin and done.

Sorokin isn't getting traded. At least not now. He's our goalie of the future until proven otherwise. I don't buy these rumors that he wants out

He even said that he didn’t know he demanded a trade
